In addition to the services above we provide the ADAXA Quick Start Package for Compiere and Adempiere.  This package is designed to assist companies minimise the cost of application configuration and achieve a rapid implementation.

ADAXA Quick Start Package

The ADAXA Quick Start Package (QSP) is designed to enable organisations deploying Compiere or Adempiere ERP & CRM to focus their implementation resources on company specific issues.  Compiere and Adempiere are designed to be deployed in many countries and many industry types and the standard distribution of the software assumes that the end user will install and configure the system to suit the requirements of the jurisdiction in which it is installed.

The QSP simplifies the initial configuration through the provision of a combination of products and services to allow for a faster and more economic implementation of the software and its deployment. It iconsists of the following components.

Pre-configured Database

The pre-configured database minimises the cost of initial configuration by providing the following:

• Chart of Accounts and Financial Reports in accordance with Australian requirements
• Australian GST requirements and reports that provide information necessary for completion of BAS statements.
• Australian terminology (ABN, Post Code, ASIC etc).
• Pre-configured forms such as invoices, delivery documents, purchase orders, material receipts, quotations and remittance advices developed in accordance with normal Australian layouts requiring only the substitution of client specific graphics files
• An integrated Electronic Payments facility which outputs information in the format specified by the ABA for transmission to Australian banks
• A comprehensive range of pre-configured reports
• Pre-defined security including ‘roles’ for accounting staff, sales order clerks, purchasing clerks, warehouse administration staff and system management.
• Additional selection criteria and default values for many reports and windows
• Additional query windows

Startup Consulting Services

Included in the ADAXA Quick Start Package are forty hours of consulting services.  These services provide for the following:

• Installation of Compiere/Adempiere and dependent software components
• Installation of the pre-configured database
• Client specific modifications to the pre-installed Chart of Accounts
• Inclusion of the Customer’s logo graphic on pre-configured forms (orders, shipments, invoices and remittance advices)
• Initial half-day training course covering the operation of the software and the production of reports and associated tasks
• Minor changes that may be necessary to support the Customer’s business processes not catered for in the base installation

The allowance of forty hours is not intended to provide data conversion from an existing system, enhancements or detailed training to multiple users of the system.  Each implementation is different in this regard and such services, if required, will be separately quoted.  Additionally, complex implementation requirements may cause the above tasks to exceed the 40 hour allowance. If this appears likely ADAXA will advise the client as soon as possible to reduce the scope of work or provide additional services.
